Privacy Policy and Procedures

Harmony Road Advisors, LLC is concerned about your privacy. In order to issue and service high quality financial products, we collect personal information about you solely for legitimate business purposes. We understand that our clients expect personal information provided to be kept confidential. We do not sell your information to third parties, and we disclose your personal information only as necessary to provide the products and services you expect from Harmony Road Advisors. We do not collect medical or health information, nor do we request information from consumer reporting agencies, on our brokerage clients. Life Insurance may require us to request medical information, however. Our Privacy Policy applies not only to written correspondence, but also to information provided through telephone conversations, e-mail or transactions. Harmony Road Advisors respects the clients’ right to privacy and places a high priority on protecting the personal information provided to us.

Employee Access and Use of Customer Information:

Within Harmony Road Advisors, we restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know the information to provide our products or services or to otherwise conduct our business. Training on how to properly handle personal information is provided to all employees. Employees are required to maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards for all nonpublic personal information.

Harmony Road Advisors, LLC collects the following information:

  • Client name, address, social security number, telephone number, employment status, dependent information and income & asset information (gathered from applications, telephone conversations and e-mails)
  • Your transactions with us, or affiliates, from account activity, account balances and products & services purchased

Harmony Road Advisors, LLC protects the confidentiality of client information through the following practices:

  • Physical security provided by building and office
  • Employee training
  • System backup and recovery procedures
  • Shredding of materials and documents containing personal information

Harmony Road Advisors, LLC does not disclose non-public personal information to third parties except:

  • As permitted or required by law, as in providing information to industry regulators or to law enforcement agencies.
  • To third parties that assist us in processing transactions, account statements, annual financial reports and legal due diligence
  • Financial service providers; these are: Insurance companies and Charles Schwab & Company.
  • To your authorized representatives (such as your attorney, accountant, etc.) with prior written permission from you

Our privacy procedures apply even after you stop having any customer relationship with Harmony Road Advisors, LLC.

How to Review Your Personal Information:

You have the right to review the personal information about you relating to any insurance, annuity, or securities product applied for by us that we can reasonably locate and retrieve. You can request that we correct, amend or delete any inaccurate information.
